The builders finished re-laying the kitchen floor today.
Unfortunately, in the process the floor level has been raised slightly, just enough so that the fridge and washing machine now won’t fit under the work surface. It’s quite frustrating. Especially as I’ve just ripped the new lino trying the get the fridge in.
Absolutely fucking brilliant.
I’ve spoken to the builder and he’s coming back on Tuesday to um-and-ar about it. I have a feeling that the only solution is to cut out the lino under the appliances.
