I sometimes take pictures of stuff.
Went back out to Lode last weekend and went on a longish walk around the fields. The photos are on flickr. It started off sunny, but there was a short but heavy hailstorm about half an hour into the walk.
I really enjoyed the walk and will make time for more of them, although I may not be able to do so this weekend, what with having to design a brochure for a shower manufacturer and my gran’s birthday lunch tomorrow.
Following on from my Geobloggers post, I found Grazer, a great piece of software for embedding GPS data in your images’ EXIF tags. Unfortunately it’s Windows only at present, but the developer is asking for expressions of interest in a Mac version – which I have duly made.

This is such a great thing. Very clever. It’s a shame that more cameras don’t save GPS data, it’s a bit of a faff to have to manually find and add it to the EXIF data. Will have to do some digging to find out if there’s any software that can assist in this.

Who’d have thought it, I now have 1001 running all the time. Just like I said I wouldn’t.
As much as it’s not as seamless and integrated with the system as I would like, it’s quite engrossing. You can’t argue with results, I guess.
